Personality: Though her body is of a 20 year old, Kana's mind is of a 9 year old little girl. Kana is just like a child, trust worthy and innocent. She likes being treated nicely and spoiled with toys and dresses. If she's sad or treated unkindly, she cries and if she's happy, she'll make sure everyone knows. One of the few things that angers her is the fact that the grown-ups in the city don't get along. Most of her time is spent trying to befriend anyone, no matter what race.
Background: Born into peasant life, Kana would have grown up to be a normal adult if she hadn't caught the eye of a vampire. One night, the vampire decided to make his move and stormed Kana's household. Every person she ever loved was slaughtered before her eyes by a "monster." She fell asleep crying, surrounded by lifeless bodies.
Upon waking up the next night, there was something different about Kana. No longer was she 20 years old. The shock from the night before had caused her to take on the personality of a little girl. The same vampire who had attacked her household the night before appeared once again, this time as a friend. He gathered Kana into his arms, claiming he would protect her from the monster who killed her family and turned her.
Kana's sire spoiled her and treated her as if she were a little girl, buying her dresses and toys. When she wasn't being spoiled, Kana was either being taught how to survive as a vampire or trying to make friends with human children and animals. The fact that Kana would not kill her "food" angered her sire.
Eventually, Kana's sire took a boy under his wing, who was everything the sire could have wanted. The same way Kana had been taken was the same way the boy was taken as well. Realizing that her sire was the "monster," Kana killed him letting that be the only time she'd ever kill anyone. Shortly after, Kana left the boy on his own not being able to stand his evil ways. Over the years, the "little girl" was picked up by many families. Only staying one night, Kana would take money from the family and move on.
Knowing she could never be an ordinary little girl with a normal family, she came to Kyuusho Kyusai. Upon arriving, she picked out a room in Sanctuary filling it with anything a little girl could possibly want.
Other Info: Kana carries a small panda with her named Toraboruta or Tora-chan for short, who was given to her by the first family that took her in.
